Location.Latitude & Longitude issues

Hi PG

Recently I started to use Location as Vehicle Tracking.

However, the Location.Lat and Location.Lon is not Changing the value.

It changes only when I close the apps and re-open (from menu) and it will refresh.

My Location is ON all the time and previously it works well.

May I know if there is any problem to the codes?

I am just having a:

- TexBox1.Text = Locaiton.Latitude and

- TexBox1.Text = Locaiton.Longitude

Just wonder what went wrongf.

Hi Hpkeong,

When we use Location signal to get the location information, as the location changes, dependencies on the location will continuously recalculate. So the value of Location.Latitude and Location.Longitude should also be changed when your device moving.

I will try to involve someone who are familiar with this issue to take a further investigation on it.

Hi

Thanks.
On SP4, changed rarely.
I asked my son to test for me lately and he got it done.
I am asking friend to test on other different phone, android, iPhone..

Hope it is intermittent problem or phone problem.
Once again, appreciate your help.

Hi Team,

I am also testing the geolocation setting on powerapps, and it did not auto-update the geolocation except when I reopen the apps.
Is this problem solved or there is workaround? Thanks.

Hi,

I'm currently having the same problem on android. It seems to work on iOS but not on android. Any workaround for this? I've tried using a timer with Enable(Location), but the only way to get the location to update seems to be closing the app and reopening, switching screens, pressing buttons etc. don't trigger an update.
