I created a bot through Microsoft Teams and associated a SharePoint list item as a topic, to the authoring canvas. I then tested my bot responses with 'Test bot' in development and can see my content successfully as it should be.
I then published my work and see it there to in my bot, in Teams.
But if I have go back to my SharePoint list, and make a modification and save, then go back to my bot, my bot in development mode picks up the content change, but my bot in published mode does not.
I then assumed I needed to re-publish my bot, or reset Teams, or uninstall and re-install my bot, but none of these steps help my published bot to reflect the updated content.
What must I do to get published bots to reflect updated content?
I waited 15 to 30 seconds. That's EXACTLY the answer I needed to help me have confidence in going forward. I also learned that I shouldn't publish so often in development mode. I'm gonna get all of my topics defined and tested first, then do a major publish once its all up.
Many thanks on that tip!
Hi @kensley ,
First, are you using Power Autoamte to get the latest version from SharePoint list? If yes, try to look at the latest execution inside your workflow history.
Also, when you publish bot contents, Microsoft Teams expend between 15 and 30 minutes to reflect this new version. How many minutes did you wait?
