Currency not showing in USD in other countries - SharePoint PA form

Good day PowerAppers. I'm having an issue I was hoping someone could shed some light on.

I have a PA customized form for my SharePoint list.  I have several Currency fields in said list.  Within the these fields I updated the default mask as  - Text(Value(Parent.Default),"[$-en-US]$ #,###.00").

As you can see in my 1st attachment, my currency fields show up as "$".

The problem is that my global users see these same fields in their local currency (see my second image).  Any idea's on how to make this show as USD in any country??

    @Cbeene

    Your formula requires one additional argument to ensure everyone sees the value in USD.

    Text(Value(Parent.Default),"[$-en-US]$ #,###.00","en-US")

    Well that is simple enough. Thanks @mdevaney

    @mdevaney I spoke to soon.  This change didn't effect anything when I view the PA, so nothing changed there.  My user overseas, however, reported that those fields were I made the change are now showing nothing.   To be clear, the fields were USD goes are calculations based on the exchange rate they put in and then the local currency number there are entering next to the USD field.  See image.

    I just added the "en-US" as you suggested, but maybe my formula is incorrect to begin with.

    Text(Value(Parent.Default),"[$-en-US]$ #,###.00","en-US")

    Thoughts?

    @Cbeene ,

    Did some testing and this worked for me on a numeric field

    Text(
     Parent.Default,
     "[$-en-US]$ #,##0.00"
    )

    and this on a text field with a number in it

    Text(
     Value(Parent.Default),
     "[$-en-US]$ #,##0.00"
    )

    Be aware that other than in the US, this will often change to your country (it does here in Oz) and then you will get an error - you just need to change it back to US.

    An Update: I didn't make any changes to the formula @mdevaney  provided me but today I have an email from my Chinese counterpart telling me that it's fixed on his end.  The numbers are showing, and in USD.  I guess that was the correct solution after all.  Thanks, however, @WarrenBelz .

    @Cbeene ,

    The whole problem with this is different regional settings and users like myself (Australia) and @mdevaney (Canada) can only provide answers which work for us and (in the vast majority of cases) also work for the other person.

    You also need to be aware that this has absolutely nothing to do with Exchange Rate - Power Apps does not perform that function.

    It is about what "patterns" have been pre-loaded. Any dollar format is simply dollars (US, Canada, Australia, NZ, Singapore . . . ) and a way of displaying it in your App.
