Using an attached excel file as a one-time datasource?

Is it possible to use an attached excel file as the datasource for that app session? This file would be unique to each user and we don't want to actually save it anywhere.

My thought was to attach the file and "upload" it, but the upload is just Power Automate taking the file contents and returning it back to Power Apps to use as a collection. Can this be done?

    @wwmn Hi,
    Your Excel is kind of 'live' somewhere. if you don't want to 'upload' that file to other place (even temp), then use a way to feed the power automate as JSON.
    for example if you use windows, on the Excel hosted PC/Server, Power Automate desktop to generate JSON from the excel ,then feed the power Automate cloud flow, within the flow, you have to consider how to keep the session live , once done, you can use it to your app.
     in this way, each user uses their own files.

    Not really possible for two reasons.

    1) The connection in the action is specific to a file.  There are ways to use a dynamic file, if the format is the same, but they aren't very reliable
    2) All the actions are dependent on the file being saved to OneDrive or SharePoint or somewhere. There's no way to read an attached file without saving it.
