Issue connecting data to a table from business central through powerapps

I am trying to connect to a table in business central through the connectors. I am able to select the connectors and dataset which shows a list of table in business central but the table that I need does not show up maybe it is because it is not a standard table. There is a field called custom table name for which I understood requires the table name and api route. What I do not understand is what is this api route and where can I find the api route for my table. I tried adding the table to webservice and published but the table still does not show up. Please help me find a solution. Thanks

this is the error code when i try to use custom table name field

Expression evaluation failed. The table specified does not contain an API route (follow the pattern "<table name>,<api route>", for example "carmodels,contoso/demo/v2.0").

    Hi @Hafizea , When you say "business central", So what the data source? Are you using Excel Online or SharePoint or SQL?

    Thanks,

    ANB

    The error message you're receiving suggests that you need to specify the custom table name using a specific pattern, which includes both the table name and the API route in the format "<table name>,<api route>". Here's how you can find the API route for your table in Business Central:

    1. Log in to Business Central: Access your Business Central instance.

    2. Access Web Services: You'll need to create a Web Service for the table you want to access in Power Apps. In Business Central, go to the "Web Services" page, which can typically be found in the "Administration" or "Setup & Extensions" section.

    3. Create a New Web Service: Create a new Web Service by specifying the table you want to access. You may need to set up permissions and publish the service. Make sure that the table you want to access is exposed through this Web Service.

    4. API Route: Once you've created the Web Service, you should be able to find the API route for the table. It usually follows the format of your Business Central instance URL followed by the path to the Web Service. For example: "https://yourbusinesscentralinstance.com/ODataV4/Company('YourCompany')/YourWebServiceName".

    5. Use the API Route: In Power Apps, when you specify the custom table name, use the format "<table name>,<api route>". Replace <table name> with the name of the table you want to access and <api route> with the API route you found in step 4.

    For example, if you have a custom table named "CustomOrders" and the API route is "https://yourbusinesscentralinstance.com/ODataV4/Company('YourCompany')/YourWebServiceName," you would use "CustomOrders,https://yourbusinesscentralinstance.com/ODataV4/Company('YourCompany')/YourWebServiceName" as the custom table name in Power Apps.

    Once you've set the custom table name correctly, you should be able to access the data from your custom table in Business Central through Power Apps.

    Mark as solution if this solves your issue. Give this a thumbs up and feel free to ask further if the issue is not resolved. Thanks

    I tried this but it just says custom table not found.
    This is the error message

    {
    "error": {
    "code": 404,
    "source": "uae-001.azure-apihub.net",
    "clientRequestId": "ca66037d-00e1-4f5b-a407-bc545109c3b4",
    "message": "The response is not in a JSON format.",
    "innerError": "The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."
    }
    }

    I have created a webservice for the table I want to connect to and have it published also. I followed your format for entering the custom table name, but it still says custom table not found. I tried different formats as well to see if that helps but all give the same error. I'm confused as to why this is happening. When I click on the Odata v4 URL it takes me to a page which asks me for my username and password and I cannot see what the page holds. Could that be the issue?

    Hi, I am using sharepoint for connecting the data right now.
