Dataverse relationship not created after creating lookup column

Hi, I have created numerous lookup columns as per my data model. However, I have found that when I go to the Relationships section, the relationships have not been created based on these lookup columns.

My understanding was that creating a relationship could be done by either:

Going to Relationships and clicking New Relationship; or
Simply creating a Lookup column (which would create a relationship with the basic settings)

Should the relationships not be created for each lookup column that was created? I was hoping to access the relationships from the lookup columns I had created and customize the relationship settings.

Yes you are correct. Try creating the lookup in dataverse first, you can tweak it but it should create a standard relationship.

It may be a timing delay or browser caching issue. By definition a Lookup column is the many (Child) side of a 1-to-many relationship.

Thank you all.

I discovered that after creating the lookup columns it doesn't appear automatically in the Relationships view. I had to first access Relationships then Add existing relationship. I found the lookup relationship I had created there and could add it in and edit the advanced properties of the relationship
