Hi, There
I was going through the documentation on power platform fundamentals. I found that Data connectors are something that connects or bridge different data sources to enable data flow between different data sources and power apps but there listed some apps such as Youtube, Twitter, salesforce as examples for data connectors. I think these examples ( SharePoint, Outlook, YouTube, SQL Server, Survey Monkey, and Mail Chimp ) for connectors are not connectors themselves but Microsoft has some technology to connect these listed apps and get data from them. So referring all these as connectors create confusion as per my knowledge. Please correct me if I am wrong and clarify my doubt
Thank You

No, the MSFT Power Platform product group does indeed use the same Connectors capability that is open to the developer community to build their own first-party managed connectors. These ARE connectors.
