We created a canvas app in power Apps with the connection of gallery and editable form. We have different tasks (more than 100) and We need to track every changes in form. It means that, if a user tries to edit something in the form we need to know exactly which parameter related to which task is changed. Is there any effective solution or is there any flow for this problem??
What data source is it using for the data?
Sharepoint Enable and configure versioning for a list or library:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/enable-and-configure-versioning-for-a-list-or-library-1555d642-23ee-446a-990a-bcab618c7a37
Dataverse Enable auditing:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/dynamicscrm-2016/developers-guide/gg309664(v=crm.8)?redirectedfrom=MSDN
If you have a different data source, you can also write a "ChangedValue" functionality manually in Power Apps to trigger a flow or write the ChangedValues directly somewhere. This way you have a history of what happened and who changed something.
Well, Yes. But this is mostly design issue a lot depends on what type of the data source You use for the gallery and what exactly and in what way You want to track ...
The data source is sharepoint list. An important note, I know how to create a flow to follow up changes in sharepoints but my question is how can I follow up changes in power Apps. Because our users will work with power apps not with sharepoint
Data source is sharepoint list
Here you can find more information: Solved: SharePoint version history in PowerApps - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)
or you can just create a History List and track changes over Power Automate in the History List and show the History List as Gallery in your Power App.
The problem is solved.
