Using multiple D365 entities in PowerApps to update custom entity in CRM

I have created a custom entity called Custom1 and created a 1:N relationship in CRM v8.2 to the Account entity using a lookup.

I want to edit/update data in PowerApps for my Custom1 entity.

On the browse screen I am using Account data to choose the Account to edit.  I am displaying Account data on the Detail screen.  On the edit screen I am displaying Custom1 Entity fields that I want to edit and update.  In order to do this I am switching my Data source from Accounts to Custom1.

Can this be done?  If so my issue is either with the 1:N relationship OR how I am calling out the Custom1 fields on the edit screen.  Can someone give me an example?

    Hi,

    Haven't tried this scenario.

    It should  work.

For New item creating, just enable the needed field and update it with the proper value from the record of Gallery.Selected.

For Editing Item, once you changed the Data Source, please take use of Lookup () function to find the proper record with the Item property that you would like to work with the custom entity.

    For example:

    Lookup(CustomEntity, Condition-formula)

After that, map the proper field with the value from the record of Gallery.Selected.

For how to work with form control, see:

Besides, have you checked the Dynamics 365 integration?

    Regards,

    Michael
