Barcode reader multiscan closes app on iPhone but not iPad

I have a strange problem/error on my Power App were the app just closes it self when using the new Barcode Reader scanning option set for Multi scan. After I have scanned a few items, I then press the "Green" OK button and the app just closes. If I do the exactly the same on an iPad everything is working just fine.

If I change the option for the control from Multi scan to Single scan, everything works like it should. I have also tried other settings for the control like specific Scanning types without any luck trying to use the Multi scan.

 

Has anyone else had or recognize this problem ?

    Yes, similar problem. Our guys are getting crashes on Android devices, mainly phones, when scanning using auto-scan with medium resolution. I am going to try single scan/medium next. However, previous attempts at single scan produced flickering, where it was difficult for the camera to focus on the barcode (QR code in our case). One person in the community solved this by doing a Save As on his app. I just tried that and am awaiting results from the manufacturing plant floor.  If none of this works, I am going to revert to the legacy Barcode Scanner control.
