The aim is to retrieve the document's coordinates after clicking/tapping on a certain area in a pdf file in the document viewer. The coordinates is then sent as one of the parameters to a third party API to add a digital signature to the document at that specific coordinate.
Is there any way to achieve the functionality of retrieving the coordinates of a pdf document upon tapping the specific position?
Hi @pepega ,
Do you want to find the exact location? Like what page, what line, what word?
If yes, currently, we cannot extract coordinates from a pdf file either with PowerApps or with Power Automate.
Using PowerApps, we can only get the number of the page in a PDF file that is actually being shown using CurrentPage property of PDFViewer control.
Using Microsoft Power Automate, the default connectors do not provide this function. However, there are some third-party connectors which maybe can do this. They are mostly fee-based software so that I haven't tested them(make sure if you have enough license to use the Premium Connectors in Flow). But you can have a try, check if they can achieve your purpose. Below are some premium connectors for you reference:

Allen
Hi Allen,
Apologize for the late reply. Yes the aim is to create an user interface on Power Apps perhaps on a Document Viewer, where tapping/clicking/dragging a box for a certain specific position on the document will be able to extract the actual exact coordinates of that position on the document.
After viewing the third party connectors documentation you shared with me, it seems like none of the third party connectors are able to provide such a functionality.
