Making a copy of Copilot

Hello There,

I have created a copilot in older version of Copilot studio which is Power Virtual Agent. I would like to make a copy of copilot. Isn't there an option to make a copy of existing copilot? I know it can be done through power apps by export and importing chatbot but that is also not working for me. I am looking for copying copilot in same environment. Please guide.

Thanks

    Hi @Sharmilshah ,

You could use this documentation here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/unified-authoring-conversion

It will appear as a "Copy" button on the bot modification page.

    Hello @renatoromao

I see copy this bot option but it has copy and convert option disabled. Do you have any suggestion for this?

For bots created in the latest version (unified authoring), they can now be copied/duplicated using pac cli.

See how here: Solved: Re: How to duplicate a Copilot? - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)

@HenryJammes I had created bot in Power virtual agent with basic license. Now I have the premium license. How can I copy and convert bot created in PVA to copilot?

You can't do this from the PVA for Teams app context.

One way to achieve this is upgrading your environment: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/requirements-licensing-subscriptions#upgrading-your-license

Another option is to export the bot from your PVA for Teams environment to a standard Power Platform Dataverse environment:
