Hi,

I am trying to get details from SAP to Power Virtual Agent just like how i got the details for service-now.

I have been following this link https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/introducing-the-sap-erp-connector/ and trying to connect but i am lost.

I have installed the On-Premise Data Gateway on my local machine and the SAP .NET Connector 3.0 SDK.

I have created a flow and added the installed data gateway i have no clue what to be entered in the SAP Username and Password. But still i did try to add a random username and password (ABC and ABC) i am able to move the next step.

I have no clue what needs to be entered in the below snapshot.

I just don't no how to proceed further from here. Can anyone help me out with this?

Regards,

Hemanth

    Hi @Anonymous ,

You can see the documentation below to help you.

    SAP Username / SAP Passwordhttps://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/saperp/#creating-a-connection

You need to use the right credentials because if you insert wrong values, Power Automate cannot connect into your SAP Data Gateway.

    Hi Renato,

Thanks for the reply. The link that you provided says "Username/Password for logging into the SAP System". Is this username and password to be provided by the SAP admins by creating an account for me on SAP?

    Regards,

    Hemanth

    @Anonymous ,

I didn't try to connect using the SAP connector, but yes.

Power Automate needs to use the user and password to execute actions inside SAP.

Do you have an SAP account? If no, try to use an administrator account, just share this workflow with an administrator, and request for him to insert the credentials for you.

    Hi Renato,

That's sounds great. I will check with the team.

But before that just wanna check with you that i tried to add random values ex: ABC for both username and password and i was redirected for the next step in the flow. Please find the below snapshots.

Do you know how this happens?

You need to remove this connection.

You can see the left menu inside Power Automate portal >> Data >> Connections >> Find your SAP connection and delete
