@narayan225  I watched the second video you sent me, my flow runs, but the column in my sharepoint does not populate with the values from my excel. I tried adding a 'when an item is created or modified' trigger instead, but nothing. I'm starting to think it is not doable and am not sure why. I don't think it is even a question of creating another excel file with just the column that i need to map.

In the video there is no 'when an item is created or modified' trigger. And you will need to make sure that all fields in Excel match the ones in SharePoint (optional).

As it shows in the video, you will need to run the flow everyday on schedule, get all items in excel, get items from SharePoint that match and then check if it finds a value.
If a value is found, you update the SharePoint with the latest data of the match.
If no value is found, you can add a new row to SharePoint list.

This should work fine for your scenario as it will run everyday and then update the data in SharePoint.

Unfortunately, as I mentioned in the last post, there is no trigger for excel that checks for changes in Excel file. You will need to manually do that using the instructions in the video.

    Hope this helps.
    Cheers!
