One user can not access the data in the app?

I have an app that is setup like this:

Canvas app

Datasourece : 3 sharepoint lists.

 

I have importe the app with solutions (managed) to a customers tenant.

I have my admin account in the customers tenant and the app works fine.

 

But when my customer contact opens the app he gets the error message
"Error when trying to retrieve data from network"

Both my account and the customers account have the same license.
Both my account and the customers account have full permissions to the sharepoint list.
Both my account have access to the canvas app.

 

I also tried to quick setup a new account and grant it same permissions. And that new account works fine.

 

I have tried to run a monitor session with the customers account and it do show a bunch of errors.... but no details on what is wrong. It is clearly something to do with not access to the apps datasource. but since my admin account and my newly non-admin account works fine... i do not get it!!

 

I have also tried to remove all permissions from the customers account and then re-add it.

I have asked the customer to log out and log back in.

 

Still not working.

I have asked the customer to go to the sharepoint list in sharepoint and the permission works, he can go to the list.

    Hmm sounds very weird, could you try to delete the connection to the datasource and re-add it?

     

    Is there any field in the solution that has a lookup into a list the customer cant access?

    i found that the user could not go to the list afterall.

     

    i add the user in sharepoint to the list with full permissions.

    but when the user go to the list it needs to request access.

    when the user do ask and i accept i see that another user is added with the same name, same mail etc. two rows with the same details...

     

    this is just weird as hell... it have clearly nothing to do with the app, with powerapps... this is something else.

    Try sharing the entire site instead.

    Sounds like their Active Directory is a bit messy? Could be that there are two objects for the same user

    This is my thought aswell.

    I have found that the user have 1 active account now. Then i have found an account in the trashcan with the same email and name.

     

    I have heard roumers that this customers have merged accounts recently and this can be some things that are left from that. So i hope this will be a problem that will go away when the trashcan is emptied....
