I am curious if anyone can shed some light on what improvements are in the Improved app rendering option. For a while now, the majority of issues I have had with apps have come from this setting and have been resolved by turning it off.
With a message appearing in the web studio about how the Improved app rendering will become the only app rendering, I decided I better get with the times and turn it on with the new apps I am working on. What I have been met with is strange artifacts upon initial loads of screens, sluggish animations, and very choppy scrolling in galleries. If it moves, it moves poorly in Improved app rendering.
So, while I see the current cons (which I am sure will be addressed in the near future), what are the pros? What is the Improved app rendering improving? If it isn't apparent due to the lack of tone in this medium, I am asking seriously; I really want to know what improvements exist and how to fully leverage them. Thanks in advance!
This. Exactly this. Classic rendering takes away all my problems, the new 'improved' rendering brings them all straight back and makes everything worse!
