My copilot doesn't read data from custom connector.

I have a azure database source connected successfully to my copilot studio though a custom connector.




When i tested the knowledge in some topics, no matter what i texted (give me some examples, find me a random data), it always give me the same result 'No information was found that could help answer this.'




I have tried to add synonyms and descriptions to the data source but none of them worked, can anyone help me?

    Hello,
     
    the prompt that you're providing is too short, it's not able to guess what you'd like to achieve. You need to prompt something like:
    Give me a student code for a student with name ABCD. You can also use Instructions to guide the model on what to use when. You can read more about prompting here: https://copilottoday.com/prompting-guide/.

    Hi,
    I would follow a different approach. Instead of using a custom connector, I would try using Azure OpenAI for Generative Answers. With this approach, you can use different LLMs and customize prompts and answers, besides defining which tables and columns you want to index and use in Generative Answers.
