In the settings of virtual agents, theres a greyed out section that says it will be allowed to upload a document of content to be used as the source for answers.
I cannot find a release date for this functionality, does anyone here know when it might be available?
I want the chat bot, triggered by customer, respond with an 'upload button', instruct the customer to upload their files (pdf or office doc), so i can catch the uploaded file and stored it to my sharepoint lists
@MikeGorbachep Can you describe in more detail the scenario you are asking about?

Hi Michael,
I have a needs of PVA to respond the user using 'Upload File' button. The aim is, we need to have a document approval on our orgz. Do PVA already have this 'Upload File' Response on 2024?
@bkur79 I've reached out to the Power Virtual Agents dev team, but have not gotten a reply back on this topic yet.
Can you send me a private message with the environment id for the environment that did not get the update to 2.0.0.556? The devs should be able to use that to determine why it did not get updated.

@mboninco we have an environment in US West that has the update 2.0.0.556 and an environment in the US East that doesn't have the update (Still 2.0.0.502). Can you help me understand when the US East will get this update?
@mboninco After speaking with the Dataverse support team, I think they said the version inside of the power apps solution is not the same as in PVA. They said when you load PVA in a browser it only loads the most current version. I dont know for sure just know they said they couldnt update PVA directly. Feature is still grayed out and I am in the USA. Any other ideas?
@winston_smyth
The Dataverse environment needs to be in the US region. The country of the tenant can be elsewhere.

At what level do i need to select the "US" region?
My tenant is in europe, but in Azure i can still spin up objects in any region.
Is it the same here, i.e. i need to ensure the environment or something is in the US region?
@mboninco Thank you, from your instructions I can see we are on 2.0.0.502 reaching out to our tenant admin to see if its been blocked or if they can work with Dataverse support to upgrade to latest version.
@bkur79 Thanks for confirming.
The minimum versions of the required PVA solution in Dataverse is: 2.0.0.556
It is possible that the update may not have rolled out to your environment. Updates can also be blocked by the tenant admin.
To check the solution version:
Goto Powerapps.com
Select the appropriate environment in the top right
In the left navigation bar, click on solutions
switch to the history tab
In the search bar in top right filter on PowerVirtualAgents
You should see the solution, when it was last updated and the version number.
If the version is lower than 2.0.0.556, the Dataverse support team should be able to upgrade you to the latest version.
If you are at version 2.0.0.556 (or higher), your environment is in the US region, and the feature is still disabled, let me know and we'll look for other possible causes.
