HELP! How do I remove a custom control dependency for a canvas app?

Greetings, all. I made the mistake of adding some custom controls to a canvas app in a solution, and I now can't import my solution into another environment because it says a dependency is missing.

I've deleted every use of the custom controls from my canvas app and published it (see below), but the custom controls still show as being required.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Appreciate the reply, but none of the above worked. As far as recreating the app, a LOT of work has gone into this app, so rebuilding isn't really an option. Really rather frustrating that Microsoft doesn't make it easy to remove code components.

We're having the same issue, accidently selecting the wrong custom control essentially ruins the app as there is no way to move it to a new environment, and seemingly no way to undo or remove the dependency.

I am relatively new to this but ... Possible answer,  you can go into Classic Designer and you can find the Entity giving you problems.

Look for the tab of Controls and remove any controls that may stopping you from importing.

This helped me get rid of 3 tables that were giving me problem.

    Good luck
