Use git branch in Power Apps

I need to do some major changes in my app and I don't want to risk my app integrity.

My first thought was to create a secondary branch and do changes there until it is stable.

Is it possible in Power Apps? I know I can create a copy of my App but I think a branch would be a better option for this.
