Auto number type not listed

Hello,

I am relatively new to Power Platform.

I want to create a column with the auto number field. I have seen various docs using this data type.

I need the same in my use case, but the UI doesn't give me an option. Attached is a screenshot of the same.

Microsoft's doc itself uses another UI completely- Link.

Please let me know if there is a solution/way to use the Auto-number field even now.

Ok, I'll suggest create your table, save and publish it and now open it for edit and add an autonumber column.

Yes, I am using the maker portal I think (https://make.powerapps.com/ ).

Will table type matter? I started with creating a new table and wanting to add Auto-number Column there. The screenshot in question is from there.
