Hi,
We are using Teams for Education and attempting to create a bot in PVA for Teams against a team based on the Class Template.
We are receiving this error:
'You're unable to continue due to an administrative setting on this team. You can try again with another team.'
Is this a restriction on the Class template, or is there an administrative policy we can change to allow this?
Thanks in advance.
Ian
Thank you for your patience. Currently Oakdale environments do not support teams with hidden membership.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/teams/known-issues-limitations#hidden-membership-groups
We are working on removing the limitation. In parallel, an independent fix will make sure the error message accurately reflects the current limitation.
Thank you for the response and screenshot, there is no known limitation on the team templates. We are investigating internally and will update back later.
@micchow Yes, we can create PVA bots in other Teams. Screenshot of the error can be found here:
Thanks for responding. 🙂
Hi @micchow ,
Do you know any limitations around the Microsoft Teams for Education or Teams templates?
If PVA hasn't limitations, maybe the issue can be fixed by removing the Microsoft Teams policy around the custom apps, external apps, or something like that.
Thank you for the question. Were you able to create bots for a team that is not from class template?
Could you share a screenshot on the error?
