SharePoint integration: can externals edit documents uploaded by them on portal?

Hi there! I need a solution to provide externals (around 500 authent. users) with options to upload files to SharePoint and next edit them online (upon internals commented them)

As far as I know Power Pages allows to upload file to SharePoint, but OOTB it doesn't look like they will have options to edit their initial files straight away on the portal.

I consider if SharePoint Extranet B2B will be here the better option, but I'm confused about licenses required for externals.

Any thoughts and ideas will be highly appreciated. Thank you!
