Combobox in Form doesn't save

Hi Everyone,

So, I am creating a Powerapp for Employee Skillset Repository. I have a form to save the Employee's profile including Business Unit and Location.

Earlier it was lists of choice of a column from a Sharepoint A for the Business Unit.

Now, I was asked to retrieve from a separate Sharepoint.

So, I created a new Sharepoint list. And created a collection to collect that list. I am able to get it displayed in the combo box drop down using the command 'Items => col_BusinessUnits.Title'

When I hit the save, the form is not updating the selected option from the drop-down list of the combo box. Any suggestions ? Please let me know.

Check the update property of the card and make sure that it reflects the combobox control's selected value.

It does reflect the combo box control's selected value. Should I do any change to DefaultSelectedItems ? At present it points to Parent.Default

The only property that matters for saving the data is the update property of the card. If it is a single select combobox,it should be combobox.Selected.Value

If the field is a lookup type, then see

It's a single select combobox and I do have the Update Property of the card set to DataCardValue3_1.Selected

When I suffix it with .value it throws error message.

What type of column is this card for:  Single line of text, Choice or Lookup?

If it is Choice, change it to single line of text, then the Combobox should work.
