Model Driven Business Rules not Running for Model-based business rules do not run for users, but they work for system administrators Users

Hello,

I have created a business rule for an entity in Dataverse that works perfectly for me as a system administrator in different test environments. It also works fine for other system administrators. However, it doesn't seem to be functioning for non-administrator users, despite assigning a security role with read and write privileges on the relevant entity.

Attached are some screenshots for reference.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

    Hi @piou299

What is the trigger for your Business Rule to do?
I understand that users do not have problems accessing the application but only that the BR does not work in a certain form?

You can verify that the trigger fields are present in the form

    Hi @piou299

Please check if any fields involved in the business rule are subject to field-level security. Could you also try giving 'Append' and 'Append To' permissions for the relevant entities. Assuming that the relevant fields are on the form, are there any controls (PCF or other e.g. optionset wrapper control) applied on any of the fields involved in business rules? If yes, try removing those controls too.

    Kind regards

    Gulshan

do you have multiple forms for admin users and normal users?  Business rules require the fields to be present (even if hidden) on the form so if it works for admins and not for regular users it might be because it exists on an admin form but not the other ones.

Any updates on this? This is totally ridiculous. The form simply detect the choice selected and show/hide relevant fields. No column security, all the fields are there.
