I have a Teams app with a Dataverse back end that's been in use by about 80 people for six months with no issues.
Suddenly, it won't open for some people. They get that picture of a sad lady and a message saying, "There was a problem reaching this app"
There is no discernable pattern for whom it does and does not work.
I have tried removing the app from the Teams channel and republishing it. We have cleared caches. We have opened the app in web browsers instead of desktop app.
Here's the crazy part.
I can no longer edit ANY of my apps. I have four, three on Teams and one on SharePoint using Lists for the back end. When I go into build mode, my app will not connect to the data. I can edit the table data directly in the back end, but none of the controls linked to the data show anything. When I click the data tab, I get,
“Error: There was a problem adding your data source. Please try again.”
Clicking the “more” link yields this.
UnableToReachServer. {"error":{"code":"AuthorizationFailed","message":"Authentication failed."}}
Session ID: da60b2f5-4008-4e7b-97d1-b0680f696f29
Also, when I try to add a connector, it says,
“There are no connectors available in this environment.”
When I open the published app, I have no problems connecting to any data, nor do the others for whom the app works.
It seems this is all connected, but I don’t know how. I would normally blame myself as an amateur PowerApps developer, but I haven’t changed anything between the time it worked and when it stopped.
You can go to the powerapps maker portal and check if all the connectors are working properly.
You can click on the connection name to fix it or change authentication.
Cheers!
