Blob url returns blank image after closing the Application

I have a simple routine for taking a picture and uploading it into a gallery.

The image url and information is saved on an Excel file through OneDrive.

The first time I upload the picture it is displayed correctly as follows:

Sem título.png

However, if I close and open the app, the image is gone:

Any ideas of why that happens?

    Hi @serveira

In Excel, have you defined your ImgUrl field as an image by giving it a name that ends with [image]?

Without this, PowerApps won't recognise ImgUrl as an image field and won't save the image properly into OneDrive.

    Hi @timl,

    Thanks for your reply.

I did as you suggested. The images are now saved on a folder on OneDrive, however I still can't make them show up on the Image control:

I noticed the url is a bit different from the one shown in Excel. Perhaps that might be an issue?

Here's the full URL to an image:

And here's what is shown on a Label with ThisItem.Image:

Here's how it looks like on OneDrive:

    Hi @serveira

It's good that the images are saving into OneDrive so I think we're close to this working.

I'm not sure why this is not working. To diagnose this, could you add a new vertical gallery to your control and set the data source to your Excel table? Hopefully the default layout of the gallery should show the image and we can use this to check that the setup is correct.

Unfortunately the results were the same as before:

I also tried removing the connection and adding it again.

    Hi @timl,

I tought it might have something to do with the backslashes on the Url from my Excel File.

I tried replacing the backslashes with front slashes but I still couldn't get it to work.

I checked the settings of OneDrive to see if I could find any permission settings, but there was nothing relevant to this matter.

Perhaps this is a real issue and I should open a ticket?

    Hi @serveira

One thing that you can try is to create a new 'auto generated' app, based on the same Excel file in OneDrive. You can do this by selecting the 'start from data' option under the create menu. In the new app, you can examine the browse screen to check whether the images load and if so, you could look at the image control settings to see how it differs from your current app. Hopefully, that might give you some clue as to why the images are not showing up in your app.

     Hi @timl

Creating a new app yielded the same results as before.

I tried manually editing the links which were patched into my Excel file, and finally the images are showing up.

The problem was that my source Excel file had a space on it, and when patching the link it was inserted with "%20" instead of the space.

Renaming my source file to a name without spaces solved the problem.

Thanks a lot for your support,

    Henrique
