Excel files not available in OneDrive for Business connector when creating a Canvas app

This is my first time trying to use Power Apps although I have a bit of experience using Power Automate to create flows used in a content lifecycle management process implemented in my team's SharePoint site.

To get started with Power Apps, I am just trying to do a training where the first exercise is to create a simple Canvas app that uses an Excel table as the data source. The problem is that the OneDrive for Business connector does not show any of the files, and just one single directory. In reality, there are several Excel files in the root directory, and many more folders that do not appear in the connector.

Is there something I can do so that this connector (creating new ones does not seem to change the behavior) will recognize the full contents of my OneDrive for Business?

    Hi

Can you try with the Excel bussiness online connector and see if the excel is visible there?
Please ensure that the excel data is formatted as table and the table is connected while connecting the datasource.

After selecting the file automatically the table present in the excel will be populated while connecting.

    Hope this helps,
    Usha

    Hi Usha,

Thank you for the suggestion.  Unfortunately, as seen below, when I start from a blank app and select an Excel Online (Business) connector, it ultimately leads to the same options, populated by just the single folder.  This folder is an actual folder in my OneDrive for Business - it's just 30 or 40 other folders are not showing up.

    then, going through the selections
