Hi,

I have built a canvas app using dynamics 365 utilising its data verse tables. These tables are in a separate power apps environment that other employee's in my business do not have access to. I have create the canvas app and now I want to upload it to Microsoft teams and share it with the rest of my business to use.

However, when someone else tries to open it it says "This app uses features that come with a Power Apps premium plan. Start a trial to use these features."

I have shared the app with the user:

How would I go about giving access to this canvas application to employee's in my business who doesn't have access to the data verse environment - e.g. I wouldn't want them to have access to the tables due to privacy reasons...however I need the table in dataverse to create the application needed for the business.

Really appreciate it if someone could provide some guidance.

Hi @DynamicsHS ,
Users will need a Per App Plan and you will need to apply security within Power Platform Admin Centre to restrict access to your tables. More information on security can be found here:

Hi @MrsRDj14 ,

Thank you for the reply. Does that mean I would have to purchase new licenses for power apps for each user to be able to use this application? The app is using a premium connector, do you know what plan I would need to purchase?

Yes, your users will need a license, depending on how many apps they will be using they will need, at a minimum, a Per App Plan, you then assign this license to the Environment where the app is hosted, rather than the User. So if you have 5 Users using the app, you would assign 5 Per App Plans to that Environment. This is done in the Power Platform Admin Centre here:
You as the Developer, will also need a Power Apps Per User Plan license.
