Submit form function

Attach is a screenshot of my submit button to my Sharepoint. But I keep getting errors whenever a new entry is submitted

Please can someone help me with the right submit function into my Sharepoint data Datasource?

 

This what I did

ClearCollect(PatchedSP,Patch('Equipments Log',Defaults('Equipments Log'),EquipmentlogFORM.Updates))

    Using defaults() as the second parameter means you are creating a new record, but using .Updates means you are patching an existing record.  If you are creating a new record you need to reference the values in the form or just submit the new form instead of patch.

    If you're straight up just submitting a form, all you need is SubmitForm(FormName) without anything else.  The record will be created with the datasource of the form.  This also works if you're modifying an entry with the form.  Forms are pretty powerful.
