Bilingual Form - Choice Field

Hello,

I have created a bilingual form based on a SP list which contains a choice field that is displayed as radio buttons. I switch the language based on a button. The values for the 2 languages are picked up from 2 separate choice columns in the SharePoint list - one for english and another for french. The problem I have is when editing the form. Since I am only saving the english text in the SharePoint list, when the form opens in edit mode only the english text is selected. How do I select the french value automatically when I switch languages? I couldnt find any indexes for radio buttons to do it based on that. Please recommend a solution.

Thanks.

Thanks, but unfortunately that article wont work for me because I do not want to hardcode any values in the app as described in your article above. Any workaround for that? I want the choice values picked up from the SharePoint choice column.

@PowerSuiteUser - I do not understand what you mean by "hardcode any values."

In your blog, a collection is being created with a default set of values for colors. I wont be able to do this as the choice field values is dynamic for my requirement (choice field contains names of projects). How do I handle this?

@PowerSuiteUser - as described in the blog, a Collection was used to serve as a sample data source to demonstrate the solution. A data source returns a Table. A Collection returns a Table. A Choice column also returns a Table.

So irrespective of where the data comes from, a table is still a table.

If possible, could you share a screenshot of your app together with a sample of your data source so I have better context.
