Hello everyone, I need help understanding the Dataverse API limits. I understand the limitations related to rate limits, which can block API calls if there are too many requests in a given time window or due to concurrency. However, I'm unclear about the daily limits.
According to this article:
it seems that the limits are set at 500,000 requests. But what does "non-licensed user" mean?
I need to carry out an integration process, and a specific data source might occasionally generate more then 50,000 requests to create records within Dataverse.
Can the process that requires the insertion of over 50,000 records be considered an "non-licensed user"?
Can someone clarify the situation for me if i can use 500k requests? Thank you.
Truly you should call Microsoft to validate. You should not rely on any of us (even old timers like me to Microsoft PG for Dynamics and PP) because things change.
1) I would assume that you fall under that 500,000 at the TENANT level a day
However, if you are paying for licenses, you may be able to go as high as 10,000,000 a day.
Again I truly suggest you contact your sales teams, but I do believe you would fall under the 500,000 a day. You still have to create the account, but you make it a non-interactive account.
If I have helped you, I would really appreciate if you please Mark my answer as Resolved/Answered, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others
Cheers
Thank You
