MS Access and Dataverse

Hello, I have connected my MS Access Frontend to Dataverse tables.

Works very well, and data retrieval is very fast.

Only when inserting new records are there problems if the system field "Status" is not filled in

See picture.

Does anyone have an idea - how to solve this
Is there a setting ?

Thank you very much, greetings from Hirschberg Germany

Martin

    Hi @AchSoWas @dpoggemann

I have recently migrated my Access database table to Dataverse.

Running queries through Access forms has been a pain. I takes forever to execute as compared to local tables.

Any idea of what may causing this and how I can resolve it?

    Thank you.

a local Access file that isn't that huge will always be the fastest.

    You can improve at Dataverse.
Possibly cache tables in Collection when starting
Check out the Relationship and Keys topics.

The disadvantage of Dataverse is that there are no queries like SQL Server or Azure
