How do I extract year from created on column in a new column in model driven app?

You can use Power Automate for this purpose which gets triggered in record create and update.
Year formula only works for fields whose time zone adjustment is set to Time zone independent.
Because there is a time zone involved the Year formula doesn't have any support for time zone adjustment.

The function Year cannot reference a column in Dataverse, for example "Created on".
"Year cannot be performed on this input without a time zone conversion, which is not supported in formula columns." Any solution here? ¡Thanks!
I get the same error message: "Year cannot be performed on this input without a time zone conversion, which is not supported in formula columns." when I sue the Year() function.
It should be great if someone find the solution.
I'm using a field with Time zone independent but not success 😞
