Yes, you need a license. But you should be able to start a trial unless your company blocked it, or you already did one.
Like everything, you need a license :-)
You should also verify though, that your Admin, has turned on the Feature, so that you can in fact use it, assuming maybe they have licenses already for you (I don't know but by default its off and you won't as its not free)
