Error: multiple levels of many to one relationship expansion aren't supported

Hi everyone, not new to PowerApps but fairly new to working with dataverse and i've run into a bit of a snag. i have 3 tables...

Employee list

  • First name
  • Surname
  • Email

Country list

  • Country
  • CEO (lookup column to employee list)

Other table

  • Country (lookup to country list)

I have 'Other table' shown in a gallery, but doing ThisItem.Country.CEO.'First name' throws this error -  multiple levels of many to one relationship expansion aren't supported. How do i get the CEO's first name?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello, @Edirinmultiple levels of many to one relationship is not possible when using Dataverse as your Data source in PowerApps. You will have to utilize the LookUp function:

    FirstNameLable= LookUp(Employee list, First Name =LookUp(Country list, Country=ThisItem.Country).CEO).FirstName

    @AhmedSalih , after some tweaking, here's what worked...

    LookUp(Employee list, Email = LookUp(Country list, Country= ThisItem.Country.Country Name).CEO.Email).Name

    Thanks for the tip though
