Hi,

Is this possible to add combo box in Model driven application without creating Choice/Choices column?

Just like adding combo box and then add data source connection in canvas application. Is it possible in model driven application?

Any help/suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @aaedla ,

Please look at the following PCF control as an option. https://itmustbecode.com/better-ux-with-a-lookup-dropdown-pcf-control/

I think this is the solution you are looking for.  Once you upload the zip file into the "Solutions" for your environment, you can add the "component" to the Model Driven App proper Form.

     - Open the app in edit mode
     - Open for editing the correct form you want to have a dropdown
     - Click the field you want to make into a dropdown
     - Find Components at the bottom and add the component - "SLTtoDropdown"

Worked great for me.  Also of note, you add the options as a list seperated by ";" like One;Two;Three
     - If you want a blank option, do NOT put a ";" after the last selection
