Conditional Form Card Visibility Layout

Hey there, I've got a form with around 25 fields in it that are selectable by checking a corresponding checkbox.  I can get the visibility fine, but I was wondering if there was a way to always have the fields move horizontally across the form space before jumping down to the next row.

Hopefully the picture helps my explanation.

Thanks for any ideas/tips!

Have you tried setting the card's X and Y properties at the same time that you make them visible?

I thought about it, but the order things are selected, and what things even are selected, will change every time a user goes through this screen.

    Hi @zuurg ,

Try putting a full form width Custom Card 1 pixel high underneath the row.

Can you explain this in more detail?

Is there a control that would allow me to adjust the order of the form's fields? Ie.

If(Checkbox1.Value = True, *control of position here = up 1 or something*)

    Thanks 🙂

    Hi @JMerk ,

No to the second question (the order of data cards is only set in Design Studio). For the first one (as I posted), put a Custom Card with the width the same as the Form and 1 pixel high directly after the last item in the row that is "wrapping". It stops the card from doing this.

Here's a bigger screenshot of what is going on, all the checkboxes correspond to different data cards within the form.  When one is checked, the card's visibility is set to true, otherwise they're all false by default.  This is for crop inspectors, these fields being potential defects in the crop.  It's not always going to be the same order or even the same selection. But if a user selects 5, like we see here, I don't want them to wrap like they are, and would rather just continue on the same row.

Hopefully that helps clarify things, sorry, I'm not very good at explaining what's going on in my head haha.

    Hi @JMerk ,

I did not realise you had that many controls one line and that sort of explains the issue - the form was not really designed for that many. Maybe make them a little bit narrower so that do not quite reach the end and allow them a bit of room for expansion. A custom card will only stop more lines below also wrapping.

I just ended up making the cards smaller and the wrapping seems to be working better. Not perfect, but it'll get a good amount of them in one line. Thanks everyone for the help 🙂
