Data API Connection/AD Auth - You do not have permission to view this directory or page

Hi,

While testing to invoke an Web API hosted in Azure App service with default AD authetication. we get the below message:

You do not have permission to view this directory or page

Please note that I registered an ad app, I used proper secret key, client id, tenant id and resource (with permission granted to it).

We found that in JWT bearer the audience is always "https://management.core.windows.net" that it might be causing failed authentication.

    Hi @basmar ,

     

    Can you share more details with your issue?

    From what you said, it seems to be casued by audience because audience represents the intended recipient of the incoming token or the resource that the token grants access to.

    However more information would be better to help with your issue.

    Hi Sik,

    Thanks for your reply. I already fix the issue by adding the resource "https://management.core.windows.net/" as an audience in my App Service authentication configuration.
