Creating a "Save as" button on Power Apps

Hi All,

I am working on an in-house app for the business but there is one thing I want to check is possible before advancing.

We have a SharePoint area called Projects which has all the ongoing projects in, each of which have their own folder structure. I am essentially replicating forms from word in Power Apps but I want the user to be able to select a location where to save the form so they can select which project for example.

Does anyone know if this is possible or could assist?

Thanks

Shane Young has a good video on this topic. He discusses enough functionality to build what you're after.

    Hope that helps,

    Bryan

Thank you @BCLS776, I'll take a look later today and see if it solves it.

Thanks for sharing this, the concept of the document library works but I want to have a screen that has all the different forms on and then the user will fill in the form, click save as and then select the folder within our SharePoint Folder. Is this idea far off my aim?

If by "form" you are talking about a docx or pdf form document, yes you can construct functionality based on that video to direct to those documents to a particular folder in a doc library.

If you're instead referring to a form control, those are linked to the doc library (or another data source) directly to manipulate the fields in that data source.

Which one are you talking about?

Apologies for the confusion, so essentially we have a bunch of template forms in word within these folders, I am looking to remake these in the app so all of them are in one place and users don't have to navigate SharePoint to find them. The document library will be handy, just need to work out when the user wants to save the form how they can select save and naviagate through this library. Because ideally the document would be saved in word.

Yes, it sounds like you can do this with the methods described in Shane's video
