Today we released the latest version of the PowerApps CLI! In this update we took time to collect the top issues reported by our users and address them.

If you have not yet updated your PowerApps CLI to the latest version, please take a minute to install the latest MSI by following these installation instructions.

What improvements can you expect in this release?

PCF-Scripts (module for building components)

We updated the PCF tooling to support automatically incrementing the PCF ControlManifest patch version using “pac pcf version --strategy gittags”

When using "pac pcf version --strategy gittags" getting error "Sorry, the app encountered a not recoverable error and will need to terminate. The exception details have been captured and will be forwarded to the development team, if telemetry has been enabled. Exception Id:e34359e0-2b3c-424c-a799-ace1b2ff9561"

patchversion works fine though.

Power App is PaaS - Plataform as a Service hosted in Microsoft Azure Cloud.

You don't have in the earlier versions for on-premises. So it´s no supported.

Hello, i understand powerapp runs in cloud. My question whether the PowerApps CLI in a docker. Based on my search, it does not apper it works in Linux or MacOS based docker container. May be it works in container hosted in windows?

But cli it's only to create a new project and publish the power apps component framework. Could give more information that what you want. I guess I could give you the right answer.
