Allow searching keep turning off

Hey,

In our Canvas app, there is a combo box with items and we turned on the button "Allow searching".

But from time to time this button turns off "by itself."

Why is it happening?!?!?!?!?!?!?

How many items are potentially in the drop-down? If it is more than your Delegation limit, the searching will turn off.

It is standard 500 and can be increased to 2,000 maximum (In Advanced Settings). I have a blog on Delegation that may assist you to understand it.

I had fixed this issue because my comboxbox was using integers. It looks like combobox can only search by text, not numbers. So I converted my numbers into text and it allows for searching now.

Does not solve the issue here - Text searches in Combo Boxes are still subject to Delegation limits.
