Hi, I'm using what i think are the standard fonts in my app.

The attached screenshot has:

'Open Sans' FontWeight Normal size 28 in the header.

'Open Sans' FontWeight Semibold, size 28 for the buttons.

'Open Sans' FontWeight Normal, size 21 for the version label at the bottom

As you can see from the screenshot, the app looks terrible.

Does anyone have suggestions on Fonts and Sizes that render well ?

Hi @dalty999,

How do you want to render your Text within your app?

I have made a test on my side, please take a try with the following workaround:

Set properties for Text appearence in Header:

Label1.Font=Font.'Open Sans'

Label1.FontWeight=FontWeight.Normal

Label1.Size=28

Set properties for Text appearence in Buttons:

Button1.Font=Font.'Open Sans'

Button1.FontWeight=FontWeight.Normal

Button1.Size=28

Set properties for Text appearence in Version label (at the bottom):

Label2.Font=Font.'Open Sans' Label2.FontWeight=FontWeight.Semibold lABEL2.Size=21

Thanks Kris, thanks for the reply. Any idea why the text looks so terrible in my app then ? The fonts don't render correctly. This is on an iPhone.

Hi @dalty999,

I think this issue is related to the font render within your iPhone (iOS Mobile Device).

You could consider take a try to change the font style, font size, font weight and etc (which property is related to the font appearance) within your iPhone, then check if the issue is solved.

To update the issue, i've restored back to a previous version which looks perfect.
If i make a change, for example in the attachment i've added a new label, then publish it looks terrible.

The attachment has side by side, i restore to an old version (nice), beside it i make a label change (terrible)

What could be happening here ? Is there a powerapps setting ?

I think I am having the same issue, I posted about it here.

I noticed the different font when running the app, It seems some fonts are displayed as a completely different font when running the app compared to when editing the app. I tested this on both an android an ios device.

Awesome, thank you so much Dihelium. This fixed my issue.

File -> App Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Render in classic mode
