'New item icon' action in table

I'm watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zL1H-d2xx80

I need to add 3 text fields to a table, im doing the same as in the video but the icons don't have any function. Any idea what I need to apply?

I'm trying the 'new item' and 'next arrow' icon but they're not doing anything, if i could get them to work as how they do in the video that would be great

    @BradStarkey OK. That's weird.

    What I just noticed is that in your excel datasource the table seems to be set to a huge range. So even rows containing no data are formatted as a table. Maybe you should start over.

    Create an excel and add some column headers in the first row.

    In the second row add some data. Select the first and second row (only the columns you really use) and format it as a table. Save the file...

    Let powerapps create an app based on that excel, you should get asked if powerapps had to add a unique column or if you want to select an existing column. Let powerapp add one!

    The app which will be generated should provide all functionalities.

    @BradStarkey so there is no Formular in the OnSelect Property of the plus icon? Could you provide a Screenshot?

    Oh I see what you mean, yes it’s from the new screen templates and no it doesn’t navigate to a new screen. It doesn’t have any formula or properties if that helps

    @BradStarkey what I meant is that the app with all the controls got created by powerapps. When you click on the plus icon does it navigate to the new screen?

    No there is no existing data, what’s in the screenshot was just a test that I entered manually. I used the new screen > list screen but it doesn’t use any of the functions

    @BradStarkey so you created an app based on existing data. These kind of apps will come with all the basic functionalities as seen in the video. And you say none of the icons work while in preview mode? So did you pressed the preview icon on the upper right side of powerapps studio?
