How to get Power Platform usage analytics?

Hello,

I have following questions regarding usage analytics:

How do I know if users are utilizing the Power Platform?

How can I identify that it's a time to unassigned the license? How do I create a report of active apps and flows?

How do I know if apps/flows are active and utilized by users?

Can you please share?

Thanks,

@tom555 there are several reports available within the powerplatform admin center... But as of know they lag in some details.

If you need full visibility the best solution currently is to install the CoE Toolkit.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/guidance/coe/starter-kit

Especially the core components will give you a great overview of what's happening within your environments.

There will be extended reports coming end of March into the admin center which will cover some of the insights you currently get from the COE Toolkit.

Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

    Hi @tom555 ,

To know the details of users who did not utilize their license, there is a future solution expected. Please refer this post.

    For other Analytics:

If you are an admin you can login to https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/

Navigate to Environment. Choose the environment

Navigate to Analytics. Click on Data verse Analytics to know the Active users, mode of access, usage details.

Click on Power Automate to know the runs and usage of flows in that environment.

You will see a download button on top. There are basic OOB reports that you can download from here.

To get more detailed report you need CoE starter kit configured in your environment.
