how to split a string with @ symbol as separator

Hi all,

 

This could be fairly simple , I am trying to achieve below. 

I have a label that logs current user email, as an example: jorge.johnson@abcmail.com

 

what I want to do is, extract jorge.johnson from the label above, how can I do that, I tried split function but its erroring so not sure if its right. See below. Please help me get a solution for this, thanks in advance.

    So First(Split(.....)).Result

    @Anonymous Split() will return a table with one column named Result

    When you highlite a formular you can see it return value.

     

    In your case we do know that we need the first item of this Table. Thats why we are using First()

    First() will Return a record with one property named "Result"

    Thats why we have to add .Result add the end because that the property which value we do want to get.
