Cannot share the App - Security role set as "Environment Maker"

Hi,

Regarding this Stack Overflow post, I learned that the "Environment Maker" role allows users to share Power Apps.

However, after assigning my colleague the roles of Basic User and Environment Maker, she still isn't able to share the app. I'm not sure why this is happening.

Additionally, when assigning roles to my colleague, I noticed that the roles from the security group were not inherited. I'm not sure why this is happening either.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. The environment where the app was built has a security group assigned with the Basic User and System Customizer roles.

Does the app published once ?

Users need the "Environment Maker" security role to share apps within a Power Platform environment.

If you're encountering issues sharing an app, ensure that you and the intended recipients have this role assigned. Additionally, the app sharer needs appropriate privileges, often including System Administrator or System Customizer roles

Thank you for your response. However, that still does not work even I re-published the app again.

In addition, I found that I was able to share one app but cannot share another one in the same environment, please refer the pictures below.

Is this because I am the user of the TestApp1 App, but the co-owner of the IT_APS_001 App?

I am so confused. If you could give me some insight that will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

While looking the screenshot what i observed is.

This app - you don't have co-owner rights (even edit is greyed out)

'

This app - you might be the owner or you have the co-owner of the application.

Owner:

The primary user responsible for the app, with full permissions.

Co-owner:

Users with limited permissions, allowing them to edit and share the app but not manage ownership.

Sharing:

Users can be granted access to run the app without being owners or co-owners.
