Hi,

I have an app that lives inside a solution. The app does not use any premium data sources, and the 2 flows do not user any premium connectors. It does use the standard approval connector.

As it's a solution and using the standard approval connector, this needs to live in an environment with Dataverse enabled.

When I share the app with a user, they get the error message

The user is not a member of the organization in Power Apps

When I go to the admin Centre > Environments > My environment > Add user , I can only add users one by one.

Can someone please advise how I can add bulk users, and assign them the customer security group.

@Moynul Hussain, Based on my experience there is no way to add bulk users in the environment. Instead of that you can create an security group and link users accordingly.

@MS.Ragavendar Thank you. Can I still add a security group to an existing Environment? I never did find this option in the GUI.
Or will I have to provision a new environment?

Yes — but not directly using Power Apps API.

You must use:

Microsoft Graph API
or Power Platform Admin API
or Azure AD group-based assignment (best practice)

With respect to the issue

When a security group is associated with the environment of the app must be members of the security group to be able to run the canvas app, regardless of whether the app has been shared with them.

Otherwise, users see this error message: You can't open apps in this environment. You aren't a member of the environment's security group.

if you still having the issue you can reach out to the Power Platform Admin Team.

I've understood the solution.

Security Groups can only be assigned to environments that either Production, Sandbox or Trial.

The environment I want to add the Entra Security group to was a developers environment.

I can add a security group to my Sandbox Testing Environment.
