Hi Power Platform Community!

This canvas app with horizontal and vertical containers looks fine on a computer. When using a mobile device like an iPhone, the modern button set to transparent doesn't show the background and the buttons in the container do not align properly. Scale to fit and lock orientation is disabled, which is the whole point of utilizing horizontal and vertical containers. Screenshots below.

For the button icon, I've tried all kinds of things besides reverting back to classic icons. The funny thing is on other screens this pattern works fine and trying to mimic those settings doesn't seem to help.

Likewise, with the container alignment issue, other screens in the app seem to align buttons properly horizontally, however some do not align buttons correctly vertically. I've tried many different settings and none seem to work on an iPhone.

Any ideas?

Are you using Horizontal/Vertical Containers as the innermost containers for holding the buttons? I usually use a standard container as the innermost container in a nested set of containers and then control the relative position of things like buttons by using formulas in the X, Y, Width, Height, Size etc. properties. That gives me the most control over the look and feel across multiple screen sizes. I then use Vertical/Horizontal Containers to flow those Containers appropriately to adjust for screen orientation.
