Network Error when using the Patch function: The 'Author' field is required

Hi everyone, I have encountered a similar error to the one mentioned in this post: "Network error when using the Patch function: Field Title is required." However, in my case, I don't have a field or column called Author.

Despite this, I created a field in SharePoint with the name "Author" and configured it to be non-mandatory. However, I am still experiencing the same error.

Please check the column internal names to see if their is an author

go to list setting you can see columns when you scroll down. Click on column name you will be taken to edit screen of column at the end of url you will be seeing the internal.

from the look of your screen i guess you are using from and submit form. if thats the case datacard will have a property called datafield where you can see the names of column see if their is author name.

if everything is good but still you are facing issue than i guess no choice but to delete and add the form again.
